I'm not an avid fisherman but an occassional one. Same as most things in
my life, I dabble. But I do think about my dabbling.
Thinking. Not enough of that goes
on. Don't just chuck in a mechanical fashion. Save that for salmon fishing! If your being
taught and someone says do this, ask why because that person won't always be there. Be adaptable.
If your favourite braided leader breaks have you the right mono's or know how to make a makeshift
one? Carry the essentials and know how to use them. They worked for years and like humans the
fish haven't become more intelligent. The other gizzmo's are the icing on the cake.
A deer
stalking friend took people out, they often gave him their gun to zero. Sorry I don't understand
that. You are interested enough to have your own tool but don't know the basics of how to set
the scope. Hay ho takes all sorts and I suppose there are many things that I use and have not
the faintest about.
